The color blue is especially healing hue due to its vibration, which aligns with the energy center of the throat. This part of the body is associated with clarity, communication and creative flow states: all things essential to cultivating contentment. With its clearing effects, it’s no wonder that tansy flower is a heavenly blue.

Herbivore Botanicals has combined our bluest skin-saving duo with our Mini True Blue Set. Deeply-nourishing, skin-healing Lapis Facial Oil and Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask come together to form a pair that soothes your skin while its brilliant blue hues offer clarifying, regenerative and color-therapeutic effects.

Below, a simple, three-step ritual to brighten your complexion and melt discontent:

  1. Build a relaxing bath. The perfect way to ease stress, tension, and worries is with a hot bath. Adding some calming bath salts if you’ve got some on hand, along with rose petals and anything else that comes to mind that might make your bath more luxurious. Hot baths are almost guaranteed to set the stage for healing your body, soothing the mind, and inspiring beautifying self-care.
  2. Apply Blue Tansy (included with Mini True Blue). While soaking, apply a thin layer to cleansed skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes or until the mask is dry (for sensitive skin: leave on for 5 minutes) and rinse with warm water with soft washcloth.
  3. Moisturize with Lapis Facial Oil (included with Mini True Blue). Once you’re out of the bath, apply a few drops of facial oil to clean skin. Facial oils blend more easily when your skin is still a bit moist and dewy from your bath. To increase the healing properties of the oil, take time to massage it into your skin. Close your eyes and pretend you’re getting a facial, using the tips of your fingers to massage your forehead, cheeks, the jawline in a circular motion. Your skin will thank you in return with a big, radiant glow, and you’ll likely find your mood improved!
