Our customers have been asking for a face cleanser—one that is hydrating, gentle, non-stripping, makeup-removing and low-foaming—for years. After multiple formula iterations, we have finally revealed our brand-new Pink Cloud Creamy Jelly Cleanser. $1 per sale of this product will be donated to Black Lives Matter through the end of 2020.

We hope that the momentum of this launch helps to support the momentum of the BLM movement. To us, going beyond clean beauty means making a significant contribution to the global fight for social justice, and the safety and wellbeing of the Black community.

Systemic racism and police brutality have harshly impacted the lives of the Black community for far too long, and the recent momentum of the Black Lives Matter movement has made it clear that we need to do more as a company to take a stand and fight back.

Herbivore is committed to consistently fighting racism in our company and in the world. In addition to prioritizing Black talent to fill company positions, working with Black consultants, and implementing year-round DEI training for our staff, we are also using our business and social media platforms to support the movement.

We hope that by using our highly anticipated campaign and platform to continue the conversation about Black Lives Matter, we are encouraging our community and other brands to join in our efforts to be actively anti-racist for the long haul.

  1. I appreciate Herbivore for sharing your support of Black lives, and your commitments to company and systemic change. As a new customer, I also notice the shift in your social media platforms — please, more Black models (especially dark-skinned, trans femme, and fat models!) and thank you!

  2. Have you released your company statistics to #PullupforChange? I’d love to see how this stance is reflected in your staff. Thank you!
